Dixon & Townsend Mechanical Services was established in 2013 by Neil Dixon and Daniel Townsend. We started out as plumbing, pipefitting and welded pipework specialists for commercial and industrial projects across the East Midlands.

Our reputation for the highest quality of work and customer satisfaction soon grew and helped us expand our operations nationwide. We now have the sufficient labour and infrastructure to enable us to carry out large scale projects across the UK.

We work on both public and private sector projects, providing a labour only service as well a comprehensive service with all materials supplied. Our fully trained and highly skilled engineering team consists of welders, pipefitters, plumbers, gas engineers and supervisors.

We focus on employing, training and keeping operatives and apprentices that are problem solvers and who take pride in their work. All our team members understand the importance of focus and attention to detail, ensuring every project is carried out to the highest standard.

We combine this high level of workmanship with open communication and a strong work ethic. This has helped us work with leading M&E companies across the UK, maintaining these great working relationships for years to come.

Our careers started with a fantastic apprenticeship at Derry Building Services, and we believe in giving others the great start we were given and investing in the future. That’s why we offer apprenticeships in plumbing, pipe fitting and welding and provide a 3 or 4-year placement at Leeds College of Building.
